82 inch wingspan Komet, Saitta fuselage, sheeted and glassed foam wings, axi 4130/16 with (2) 3S 4200mah lipo in series. 15 x 10 prop, weight just under 10 lbs. Flies great, dolly needed for takeoff.

I don't remember what Siatta sells the kit for or if it is still available. The electric motor was about $150 and the batteries about $300.00 but flies for about 15 minutes. I cut my own foam wings for the plane.

I have his motor, it runs great on 6, if you want even more power you can try 8s setup. I've been using 15x10 prop as well on 6s 3700, and got 10-12 minutes of decent flight.

Nice , I saw the rocket motor in the 1st pic. was gonna ask if u ever fired it . then the 2nd post shows it taking off with JATO. Real cool.

Third page, Brian Taylor's plans. Even had a prop on the front to start with - just change the motor mount. Brian is one of England's finest scale designers, with many trips to the world champs on his resume.

Sorry, no photos, but it you want a challenge, I saw a Komet fly in England with a glow powered DF. He used the rear cockpit windors modified into air intakes, with underside intakes added. Ended up with a big tailpipe though
