Flew the Turmoil (and built it). Average-minus on build.

Very good in KE. Tight looping figures, easy hover. A bit wobbly at low-speed in high alpha or turns, but flatspins well. Rolls reasonably axial. Heavier than shockie so it will need more than CDROM power.

I just got the reflection. The best plane I've ever flown so far and I have'nt even upgraded to brushless yet.

I have'nt flown the others yet but I heard that the reflection was the best. You can see the videos of it on R/C Universe from the ETOC 2005. Sean McMurtry and Frank Noll J.r used it in competition.

When you said others, do you mean other planes or the other flatouts?

I have the Cap 580. I smoked the stock motor on 3 cell Li Po.The voltage killed it but made a lot of power for a few flights! Its now flying with a cheapo outrunner on it. Wacky thrust line and low wing placement. The Cap is probably the worst of the Flatouts. I can't say about the Flat Outs but I would skip the Cap.

I had the CAP and it was the worst thing I ever flew. Dorked it in on first flight and it shattered into too many pieces to bother with. Extremely fragile piece of crap if you ask me. Save your time and money.

Did the cap and it sucks!not strong enough as the wing will rip of easy with a wing touch, that being said I love the flatana as its one tuff bird.John
