hi all i really have two questions regarding the field charger

1) the connector on the charger doesn't match the connector on my blade heli (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=2486) with a lipo (http://www.rcuniverse.com/buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=2320) battery is there a adpter i need to get for the blade as well as my hirobo Lama helis or do i need to waste two batteries to get the connectors

2) do i need to connect a volt meter to tell when its done charging if so can someone tell me how i do this or does it have a shut off when the battery is fully charged

thank you in advance

I'm assuming your talking about the Hobbico MKII Quick Field Charger.

1st Question:
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you have one of two options here.

Option 1. Go to your local hobby store (LHS) and see if they have the adapter you need.

Option 2. Go to your LHS and buy the connectors and the wires you need to SOLDER your own adapter. (Assuming you have a soldering iron and know the basics on how to do such a thing :)

---------------------------------

2nd Question:
You dont need a voltmeter to use this charger. The voltmeter is optional and will give you a live reading of the charge status of your battery. The charger will automatically stop when the battery is "full". (Or near full)...

The MKII charger is notorious for ever-so-slightly "undercharging" its Li-Po batteries (and Li-Pos only, it does fine with Ni-Cad or Ni-MH). I could go into detail but its irrelevant to your question :)

Hope this helps!
