Vem 1221.10 Some german make. seemed pretty powerful, tho i could only tested it with 1a psu. Should draw 8 amps or smth like that.
Any german folks know this motor? could get it for like 3 US dollars :P
Other one was sharp mcb2b1870214-a . couldnt google the specs out.
and then saw some pretty powerful russian made motors aswell. thinking of buying, because they come really cheap in that store

I've heard of the Vem... Are you shure you can get 8 amps out of it? Seems a bit too much to me.

saw a german page with some model boat on it and there was stated that this motor draws 8 amps on 9 volts with 3 bladed 2j screw on some ship. was wondering, if i could rewind this motor for airplane use

On the website the following is written

This is a VEM 12V-Motor (Typ 1221.10) from East German production. I got it years ago in a local electronics store (like Radio Shac in the US) on a "nuts and bolts" table for US$2. The motor starts turning at .8 volts and draws about .8 amps at 9 volts, using a 3 bladed, 2" screw.

So the motor draws 0,8 amps not 8 amps...

I wouldn't bother rewinding such an old motor, there are newer and better motors for aircrafts, they might cost something more but you know they work. ;)

good motors are hard to find here, so you have to find some or build some. we have only one hobby shop around here you know :P
