Excellent view of the sound. Glad to see the weather is coming my way :p

I'd say you got that camera tuned in pretty good now.

Don't worry, with global warming, the equator is moving closer to you:)
I'm not a big fan of winter and long to be able to spend summers in Seattle and summers in New Zealand.........But I do really like this time of year, everything feels fresh.

Ok, my 3 guesses, and they are all probably completely wrong"
1 - Mercer Island?
2 - North of Ballard?
3 - Bellevue?

CG, you are close but it is lincoln park in west seattle. It is one of my favorite places in Seattle.

I havent lived in Seattle since 96, but I was talking to my best bud the other day who lives in the Bothell area and he mentioned they fly at Marymoor all the time...was just curious. I can bug him for more info...

Marymoor and 60 Acres, Both in Redmond are still open to flight with AMA membership. Marymoor has lots of the loud gas planes and 60 Acres is loaded with gliders but both are very flyable. I have never flown at any but lots sure do when the weather is nice.

I was curious if you ONLY need an AMA mebership or if you need a club membership as well to fly at marymoor? I heard that you do need the club membership but was wondering if anyone else has more solid info.

Because Marymoor is a public park only a AMA membership is required to fly there. If you have you AMA card and want to fly there and someone tells you your not allowed because your not a member of some club tell them were to stuff it because there club doesn't own the park or field.

Great photos! I'm glad we are having global warming cause we had the worst winter in many years this year. LOL!

LOL, yea, I'm sure there is no connection between those two statements :)

try saying " We are having one of the worst winters ever cause we have global warming"......and you will be a true believer :D
