Ive been trying to get my Art-tec cessna 182 controler to work with FMS for a while now. Heres how I have it setup: I have the 182 controler connected to my sound card through the mic port. I have the latest FMS and SmartPropoPlus and the mic imput sound level at 2/3 volume. Heres the problem: When I go in to configure it in FMS all of the channels are randomly going up and down and dont respond to my movements. When I go to fly after configuring with it like this the plane jumps all over the place as if all the channels are jittering. I thought it might be the cord i was using since it was the one that came with my cessna... kinda cheep but free, so i went and bought a new one at best buy. The new cord had the same problems. So I finially got a DX6 and thought it would finially fix the problem.... nope :( same thing! But this time it seems that only a few channels are moving up and down ( in the config screen it looks as if the channels are blinking from blue to white) Could it be my sound card? Ive never had any other problems with it. Or could I try a cord that doesnt go through the sound card (usb or other) Ive posted a thread on the FMS forum with no luck. Hope you guys can help! I need some where to fly on rainy/windy days!!!
