:confused: As a complete novice, what is the best way to deal with a bent prop shaft on a Slow Stick ?

Replace it if you cannot bend it back to straight. The shaft is cheap to replace. Last time I bought one it was less than $2

Don't run it bent. All kinds of bad juju if you do. Also you may want to get a prop saver. It could keep that from bending again.

Get a prop saver:

Get an extra shaft for the motor. Put the prop saver on and cut the shaft down so it's flush with the front of the prop saver. use O ring and another rubberband on top.
