Help please...F27 Stryker battery

:confused: I have bought the brusless/Li-po upgrade for the Stryker.The battery I was recomended is a High discharge (15c) 2000 mah..3s (11.1v) @ 5.7 oz.

The battery measures 3" x 1 3/4" x 1" I can't figure out how to get it into the plane, the cut outs are not large enough and it has to fit under the hatches.

I would appreciate any help on any solutions, placement of battery that will aid in COG when BEC and RX is fitted.

There's no law against making the cutouts larger... All you need is a steady hand and a sharp Xacto knife or razor blade.

Use the knife, Chris, become one with the knife. ..........Deep tin can breathing........Just don't use the dark shades. :)

Lay your pack on top of the fuselage to get CG positioned, then cut foam to fit the pack. And don't forget some type of retainer for the pack, like velcro.

For my brushless Strykers, I use the Thunder Power 2100 mah lipos, or the Polyquest long 1800 mah 3s packs. They fit perfectly into the body of the Stryker without any cutting of the foam or modifications if the hatch.
