Quick Overview
SmarkPropoPlus - Software driver that allows an RC transmitter to be used with flight simulation programs like FMS on Windows XP/2K . Requires a simple cable to connect the PPM output signal from the transmitter to the mic or aux input of the sound cable.

FMS - Freeware flight simulation software that runs on Windows platforms.

Recently hooked up an eSky 4 channel transmitter to a Windows XP system running SmartPropoPlus/FMS and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. (eSky transmitter has a mini phone jack on the side so all I needed was a cheap mini phone plug cable to connect it to the sound card.)
The SmartPropoPlus sight already has directions for building cheap cables for use with popular transmitters that have buddy box connectors which include the PPM output.
I would like to find out if anyone has documented how to tap into the PPM signal on some of the popular Hobbico, HobbyZone and Parkzone transmitters.
Would be a slick way for a new flier to get some stick time on the actual transmitter before going to the park.
Edit : I would also like to find out if anyone has a link to a good collection of FMS Hobbico/HobbyZone models
