Great web site Don. The hand crank in that second photo is interesting. It looks like someone has just finished starting it with the crank on that first shot!

Thanks Don, really is very interesting and might help someone interested in scratch building.
However not everyone nowadays know what a "handcrank" is used for.
Guess us old geezers never forget?

Thanks for the old time photos. Seaplanes are the greatest and the older ones really need to be documented and flown by R/C. Yeah, hand cranking is remembered by us old timers, but then the engines did start with the proper spark setting, a strong arm, and if the the coil and battery were working!
