Has anyone got one of these? It supposedly is an airfoiled version of the one Q. Somenzini used to win the 2004 electric competition. It looks like it might be really good.

The only one that I know about is the QQ Yak 54 distributed by E-flite and Horizon Hobbys and the Balsa Profile but it is a 55 if I recall. The profile is the only one that has an airfoiled wing. Have any links?

Mike,
The address is www.somenzini.com/eyak.htm (http://www.somenzini.com/eyak.htm). I have heard good things about the Eflite flat wing Yak 54F and wondered if this new one with an airfoiled wing would be worth a look.

Mike,
The link I just sent you doesn't seem to work. Try this one....it's basically QQ's website.

I'm enjoying mine. Control surfaces are warped and will not straighten... but that doesn't seem to bother it... still flies great! Pics and a video on my website.

If you are refering to the 49 inch YAK 54 I have been flying one for 5 months. Bought the combo pack with the Hacker motor and ESC. It is one fantastic airplane. It flys like a model twice the size and very smooth but will do anything 3D you can do. One of the best models I have ever flown and it land like a dream.
