I'm not sure. I'm thinking maybe they have lives. Since I now live in the Polar Ice Cap. I don't. :(

Hows the Husky comming Gary?

Went to the LHS today and got a E-Flite 450 outrunner, 25a ESC and 6 servos for it (already have a UBEC). My Mom gave me a $100 gift certificate for X-mas so I decided to use it for the Husky. Now I just need to get some time to put it all together. I still haven't figured out how I want to brace the tail yet. I want it to look right so I don't want to just tack on anything for braces. I have some control rods laying around but have to figure out how to attach them.

Cool make sure you post a lot of pics when your done, thats a fine looking airplane.

Can you put the eflite motors on most kits? They seem like good motors...

I would think if it fits, it would work. The Husky uses a "stick mount" so I had to get an adapter but no big deal. It's funny but the guy at the LHS was going to try and sell me a 480 because "it's only a few more bucks" but we took a look and it's much bigger around and wouldn't fit under the cowl without a lot of hacking. The 450 is overkill anyway for this plane. It's supposed to use a geared Speed 400 brushed and will be a bit of a missile with the 450 outrunner.

I got a lot to learn, but I can't wait to jump in and build a plane. Seems like its so much fun and interesting.

Yeah I doubt you want it to fly like a missle! That wouldnt be much fun...

I'm discovering that the Goldberg Husky needs a lot of little tweaks out of the box. I was looking it over yesterday and discovered that instead of a steerable tail wheel, I have a bent piece of wire. There's another mod I need to make. This one's gonna take a while!
