Here's a sneak preview of the prototype of Horsefly Hobbies new Matrix. 27" span, 6-7oz, Hacker A20-34S on 2 cells and an 8" prop. I'm hoping to get a prototype next week for myself. Some unique stuff as usual from Mike, layering the black/white depron to make the canopy and feather design is neat.

Great visual idea!

The lines look more 'racy' than 3D (the longish nose in particular), but looks can very well be meaningless when it comes to performance.

I hope it's possible to get one without a bunch of paint on it -- the elegance of the design can probably survive the paintyflamy urge, but there are always us fogies who'd rather skip it and like the 'pure' look.

Thanks for posting it! Looks great; I hope he does well with it. Drop a line about how it flies, wouldja? Looks like there's something interesting going on at the leading edge.

Hello,
Thanks for posting the plane Azarr.
I tested the plane for around 7 hours today.
It was a beautiful day here in New York. It dose a fantic power off harrer. It just sinks with no wing rock at all. Full power blenders that would rip the wings off most foamies and locks into a hover very nicely. It had a small amount of coupling, but I trimmed the rudder and removed the counter balance and that took care of the coupling.

The wing has my folded leading edge design as do all my model. OK it's not on the Mini GB:D The folded LE make the plane fly like a much larger plane. Plus it makes the wing as strong as hell.

Hi Guys,
You can get the plane at www.horseflyhobbies.com (http://www.horseflyhobbies.com) All thats on the site at the moment is the name and the buy now button. You can do a search on rcgroups for more info. I went out of town for a few days and just returned home. I have to get more info on the site yet.
