Hello Wattflyer community. First off, myself and Austin would like to thank Wattflyer for the support forum. But most important is our goal to keep our customers happy and to do this better we implemented this support forum...........it's as simple as starting a new post with your question or problem and then the process begins.........
If you'd like you can e-mail me at jammaxamps@earthlink.net or send me a PM or during regular buisness hours you can call the Shop at 1-888-654-4450. at this time if you have order questions you need to call the shop........I'm in Minnesota and Austin and the crew are in Washington......and All I can do is call or e-mail like everyone else.
so in short,
thanks to Wattflyer and to all of you our valued customers.....

Thanks for opening this thread. I think its a good way to aid us the potential customer.
I was wondering if you plan on attending the Weak Signals event in Toledo?
I have strong interest in your product (price is awsome), and plan to purchase two high capacity 2??? mah 11.2 batteries for my Mini Funtana X.
Thank You, and have a Great Day
Mike

Mike I'm glad you like the idea.............It's been in place on other forums and is going well...........I would love to attend Weak Signals but my daytime employment doesn't always allow for much fun..........I'm not sure if Austin was planning on it........I think the 2100HV's would be a good match in your Mini Funtana depending on room available for a pack of that size........ if you need anything just let me know I'm here to help.

Balil, this isn't a MaxAmps question but hey I'll see if I can help you anyway.........what brand rec. do you prefer and how much do you want to spend? or you can look at the sale forums here or at RC groups also.....I've purchased several 8 ch and sixes from punkindrublik at rc groups and at real good prices too.

Hi Jason,
Why is so much R&D into high discharge packs, 30C +. I don't know about others but I would rather fly longer than 1-2 minutes. Very seldom do I discharge above 6C. I would like to see more compact and lighter cells in the 10-15 C discharge rate. Most of my planes are in the under 38 oz auw. The battery is the heaviest item in most of my fleet.
My question is are we going to see lighter lower cost LI-Pos in the 2200-4000mah 10-15 C discharge in the near future or is the R&D focused more on High C discharge rates?
Thank You,
Tony

Tony the high discharge cells are going strong for a few reasons.............car and truck guys are using high discharge brushless set-ups and we electric flyers are looking to surpass the slimmers............What I'm trying to say is that once we can fly the biggest of r/c airplanes on e-power that used to be gas only and run our electric r/c cars as fast and longer that a gas versions............and we are all sastisfied then we will have to switch gears and possibly go the other way..........but right now cheaper bigger packs are what we need, this way you don't have to be a millionaire to fly a quarter scale e-powered plane.........and we at MaxAmps are helping this cause as best as we can.
