MWE Spring Fling in San Diego May 18 - 20

Hello everyone,

On behalf of the Silent Electric Flyers of San Diego, I wish to announce that the MWE Spring Fling is coming May 18 - 20. There are more really great things in store for the MWE this year and I encourage all to come and fly! We will have the usual noon time demos, some fun events, and a lot of open flying.
Information is located on the 2007 MWE website (http://www.sefsd.org/mwe.htm). There you will find the schedule of events, registration information as well as accommodation ideas and driving directions (as it becomes available).

I just want to put a plug in for this event. Last year the place was packed with every kind of bird you can think of. I had a blast and will be back this year flying my birds and getting video. Hope to see some of you guys/gals there.

Do you really need an excuse to visit San Diego???!!!

Planning is going along great, I have to tip my hat to the new CD. He's doing a bang up job getting the details finalized.

The location is great, there are new facilities nearby, the weatherman has already predicted perfect weather (not hard to do in San Diego) and the activities list continues to grow.


This year there will be some of the Spring Fling favorites, and quite possibly some new flying fun activites to watch, or fly in.

I'm really looking forward to this event. I have been telling everyone at work that is interested in R/C to come just to watch. I will be flying this year and taking video. I have clearance from my wife to spend the entire weekend flying. I may ever get off work early on Fri and head down.
