I went into the LHS the other day to pick up some glue, and ended up buying the TJ, because it was on for half price and it caught my eye. I built it totally stock, 'cept I'm running a TP 2100 Prolite 3 cell in it. It comes with a pair of 480 size brushed motors, and is EPP foam construction, which is supposed to be very crash resistant. Anyway, just wanted to say how impressed I am with this thing!! It's fairly quick, and just an all around dream to fly. Glides forever, hand launches easy, roll rate is like "right now" and all in all, I'm giving it a 3 thumbs up!! Buy one if you get a chance, you won't be disappointed.

Are you running the stock props on 3 cell LiPo or did you prop down?

Was it on sale at one of the big chain LHS's or just a local one?

I didn't prop it down, I'm using the stock props. Motors are hardly even getting warm, quite surprising actually. It was a local sale, in Canadian dollars, it was marked down from $159.00 to $69.00....I couldn't resist!

Hello Jagzilla!!! I had a question on your Twin Jet Battery choice, did you ever hook it up to a watt meter. I just bought one of these jets and I do not know what battery to run in it....I know I don't want the 7.2 volt cell that they suggest.... OK for now I hope you catch this quote...
Thanks,
Mojo:roll:

Get a speed controller that will handle a lipo and buy the 3300 20c from hobbly-lobby.com that will make a huge difference in climb and speed performance

Hello Sparkola!!! Thanks for the INFO....I like the 3200 3s2p Li-Po idea as well, that is what I came down to after a week of searching....Now I know it works.....
I just opened my new Multiplex White Eagle box and was just playing with the motors and my new analizer, I found that the props just slid on the shafts with no pushing at all, I guess you have to glue these for sure...I don't get it some guys are saying that they have push so hard and then they can't get them off.
OK Thanks Again!!!
Mojo:rolleyes:
