HI Gentelmen, I have like 5 GWS 370s that i bent the prop shaft on with ooops chrashes with my slow stick:)
So went to the local hobby shop and purchased GWS new prop shafts.
figured it would be cheaper than continuning to by new motors every time i bent the shaft but boy oh boy what a dickens of a job to replace them and the replacement kits don't even come with all the parts:mad:
If anyone has any experience , advice, or hint or can point me in the direction of how to change out these shafts without a hassel, it would be greatly appreciated!!!! thanks guys fdnyjery

I assume you are refering to GWS EPS gear boxes. Can you describe why you are having a hard time changing prop shafts? With perhaps the exception of the E clip on the back of the shaft which can be bothersome it really shouldn't be too hard.

another question??? when building a balsa ,horizontal stablizer and the elevator the instructions say sand both working edges to 45 degrees. I know I am a dumbell but i can not figure out the proper angles to sand both times they came out shaped at the same angle which is wrong .I believe when done properly they should look like a V has been cut out .???? any Help appreciated fdnyjery

there are many ways to do this but a simple easily made sanding block could help. Just make a small 2 in x 1.2 block, cut a 45 angle in the block, glue some sand paper , grit of choice to the bevel and you have a sanding block with a 45 degree angle to use on your edges. it works better if you place your balsa or wood on a flat surface then sand the edge to depth of choice holding the block squarely to the edges. Also you can mark on the trailing edge a line inward to your surface then sand to the line from the outside edge for example, 2mm line on top surface to the outer edge of the bottom surface. When you sand both surfaces this way, the "V" shape between surfaces when they mate should appear...hope this helps and doesn't further confuse.
