I have got three Valencias. Can I help with anything...?

I have two, One I bought several years ago. It was damamged and had been converted to gloww using a os15. I fixed it up a got it to fly, and its a fun aircraft to fly,
The second is built but no internals,
I want to keep it electric on the second (brushless) So I am looking for CG information, any recommendation on motors etc. I will take just about any info I can get. Nither of the aircraft I have, came with any kind of instructions. Also could use a new canopy or suggestions on how to make one

Interesting you mention that you have one converted to glow power. Are you sure it is not a Patricia...? Kyosho made a model identical to the Valencia apart from it was powered by an OS (a 0.10 I think) and obviously had different decals. These are quite rare and I am looking for a NIB one at the moment. It could have been repaired with Valencia parts and decals so you think it's a conversion...

I am afraid I don't have CofG info and such - more technical that I have ever got with my Valencias - I would measure it up for you but mind are all in storage some 50 miles away from my home.

Would love to see some pics of the glow powered Valencia/Patricia.

Regards the canopy, I'm not sure how you could make one without some sort of thermoforming machine. You could make up a more angular one by cutting and sticking some thin plastic...???

I have a Valencia too. I scanned the owners manual. Here is the link to download the PDF. I hope that helps. Mine is stock other than a speed control so that I can throttle up and down as opposed to all on or all off. That was a good $60 investment.

hey, would you still have the kyosho valencia directions as a pdf? I have a new one in the box, but no directions or manual. I'm considering building it as I have always loved the lines of that plane. Any ideas on a modern way to power it?
