The third Annual "Vintage Radio Control & Old Timers Fun Fly" will be held on Saturday, July 28th, 2007 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The location will be the Arvada Associated Modelers Airpark, 7608 Highway 93, Golden, Colorado.
Open to any AMA member having an R/C model that's listed on the eligible VRCS list www.vintagercsociety.org (http://www.vintagercsociety.org)
Events include Open, Pattern Class II-III and "Concours" for Vintage models designed or kitted prior to 1970. This includes the "One-Design" Andrews TrainerMaster for this year as a Class III plane. Electrics and/or Glow power allowed and will be flown together. Scaling up/down allowed, no battery/motor restrictions apply.
A Timed Climb and Glide event for "Old Timer" models designed or kitted prior to 1943. www.antiquemodeler.org (http://www.antiquemodeler.org) for list of Old Timer "R/C Assist" list of eligible planes. Glow and/or Electric power as well as scaling up/down allowed. Electric powered planes will fly in separate LMR event. No battery/motor restrictions apply.
Awards, Prizes, Food, all at a great AMA site!

I've attended this the first two years, first as a helper, last year as a contestant and timer. Great Fun! Mark your calender, if you're going to be anywhere around the Rockies in late July, don't miss this!
