Straight out of a scrapped PC . I pulled the drive and Begin to
free this little motor from it captivity inside a metal and plastic maze of gears, sliding plastic parts, springs and screws. Now that I have the motor with its circuit Board still attached. Whats the next step in making a nice little motor for a small indoor flyer ?
I guess the plastic CD disk holder presses off the shaft. I understand windings and what thats all about, I used to wind transformer coils ( the ones that hang from poles and explode when hit by thunder bolts  ) However This is small stuff. The wires that are on it are very fine and I dont see any markings what so ever as to the wind count. It is a 3 lead motor. Whats a good power producing wind for this type motor?
