I need sourcing for 1/4 x 1/2 sticks for my FA Stick...

Can I sub basswood, of make a beefier version with balsa or balsa lams??

I have been using basswood for several years.Good spruce is hard to find and too expensive for me.Basswood weighs about the same as hard balsa.I get basswood from Lone Star Models.Nice folks,call and ask them to send you the straightist sticks they have.They advertise in Model Aviation.
