Mounting screws for GWS and Park Motors

Hi:
Could you tell me the size/pitch of the screws used in the GWS motors 05/15 and 08/18 and the Park 250,300 to hold together the mounting plate and the motor. I believe that are metric. If possible where I can get some about 1/8" (3 mm) longer than the ones provided with the motors will be great.

Try your local hardware store. I find most of what I need at Ace Hardware.

Those screws are metric 3MM I dunno what the thread pitch is but every time I've bought 3MM screws at the hobby store or else where they've just worked.

Bear in mind those mounts are beveled an you need countersunk screws if you wish to mount the motor flush to a surface like a firewall.

The most common 3mm screws are 8, 10, 12, 15 or 18mm in pitch. I think we use mostly 18mm pitch. No matter what size, be VERY careful that your mounting screws don't go far enough into the motor to hit the windings:)
