What is your quickest flyer as well as your setup? I've got a Devistator on 9 cells and a Mega that's been clocked at 80 MPH. Now thats after a dive and going into a flat run.

Don, I have a mini wing from Sylair thats a measily 20 inch span. Has a teeny weeny J250 motor and a 4x4 prop. I use a kokam 2S 1500 lipo on it. I've never measured the speed but this little guy is extremely fast!!!
Fast enough that the "fruit of the loom" guys get very antsy!!! This wing is very volatile in that you don't want much throw in those elevons!!!!
The wing is eps with epp on the leading edge. It weighs just about nuthing but man will it ever keep you on your toes!!!

Yea Dave, that one reminds me of my Mini Speed Wing, that little booger scooted right along especially wearing trifocals!! Then I picked up the twin version which was a hoot to fly too.
Some of these folks are claiming doing well over 100 mph with wings now. It would be a challenge to keep up with!
If you want something dangerously fast try this out

I think you'd want to look at Chris Klique's (sp?) modified combat wings.

WOW! That is one bad looking wing!!
I have a 36" Wing Warrior E-Zipper
- 16/15/3
- Phoenix 45
- APC 5 x 5
- 12 cells of GP1100 or IB1200
Sure the duration isn't great, but 14.4volts is hard to beat!

I've got a Projeti with a Mega 16/15/4 and a 3S TP 2100 with a 5x5 prop. Not the fastest but scoots with a pitch speed of 97 mph. I used to fly it with a 6x4 prop and it was fast. The 5x5 should be even faster.

Ritewing TL40, Mega 16/15/4 Polyquest 4s1p x 2 = 5200 mah, 106 mph confirmed by GPS, on a cold day (cold batts). 6x4 APC prop
Going bump up the RPM's by about 3000 to 4000 with a new 2500 Kv motor, and try some other props. I will let you know how fast then.

Chris,
I just received my Typhoon 3 turn (Mega 16/15/3) and I put it into my Stryker with a 3s2p 4200 lip and it screemed. Nothing like your setup but if it flies, it should scoot pretty fast for a Stryker. I may also try a 3s3p 3960 lips (3s 1320 x3)...it should be lighter but more $$. I'll let you know.

Check here for one of the fastest wings. Yes it is a Ritewing.

Well, my 3-turn (mega knock-off) equipped Stryker was only marginally faster (90ish mph) than my 4-turn probably due to the draggy design of the Stryker. I did, however, get a new ESC for my Concrusher so it is up and running. This should be much faster than the Stryker but I dont think it can compete with a Demon. The Concrusher should be over the 100 mph range but due to it's small size, it is difficult to see and therefore, cant get a good running start at some serious speed. I'm predicting 100-120 mph. It has routinely done over 106 mph via radar. I'll keep everyone informed.
