paul bingham Hello!!! I just put my Shooting Star up in the air after 10 years...I never got around to flying it because of my work...Also I was not familure with jets. I recently replaced the original receiver I had in it due to frequency problems and also put in a 3S 1800 Li-Po. I don't know how long it will last but it sure flies great...I can't believe it. I love it. I was really concerned about the CG as well. The factory CG points are just behind the leading edge 40-41mm back and just where the wing angles from the fuselage. My jet was tail heavy with the new lighter Li-PO as well so I installed lead in the forward section. I had some jet pilots check out the CG for me and they said it was fine. Well it flies so well and I even let a champion micro turbine jet flyer try it and he went crazy, he could not believe he was flying an electric ducted fan.
Best of luck with yours.
Happy Flying
