I have a new Twister CP. I have charged the battery and followed the start up instructions. However the LED on the 4 in 1 unit pfashes red then stays red. No sign of green. The rotor doesnt rotate but cyclic and and rotor pitch controls have movement. Any ides please before I take it back to the shop?

Do you have the throttle trim down and the throttle stick down? Also is your throttle travel sufficient from the half way point on the stick down? Is your throttle reversed? It sounds like the controller is not arming because it thinks there is some throttle applied & will not allow a start for safety reasons. - John.

Thanks Boomerang
Got it sorted. I did have the throttle etc. in the right position but the 3D switch wasn't! The instruction books idea of 'forward' and mine were reversed :( As soon as I put that right it sorted itself out :)
Thanks for the help

hi nige97.
i was going to buy a century mini pred but got a twister cp v2 instead.
does your twister tip over to the right on taking off. im on 4th battery and after setting everything up cannot get more than a few inches off the ground before blades dig into floor.

I have a cp v2 and have had the same problems. JPerkins tech line says that this model does this and we should correct for it.
Everyone else I have spoken to thinks this is a load of rubbish.
I have had to replace the main drive, several rotors, undercarriadge and 2 tail motors.

if it's tipping, make sure the swashplate is perfectly level or you will be fighting an out of whack flight setup...

the helicopter will tend to drift left and to correct for this you end up tipping it to the right. However it if is tipping without user input than it's a swash leveling issue.
