This is a great 3 channel beginner airplane and I’m selling it as a complete package (you only need the radio). I bought some new components and set everything up for someone else, but they aren’t able to buy it right now. This plane is a perfect transition into standard electronics and planes. I used it for that very purpose after I mastered my Hobbyzone Challenger. The Beaver is a very robust and solid plane that is great for practicing takeoffs, landings, and basic airplane moves. It boosted my confidence and skill level enough to easily transition into 4 channel planes.
I’ve flown over 100 batteries (5-7 minutes each) through this plane and aside from a few scratches; it’s as good as new. There is one small piece of foam missing on the nose, but the cowl covers it up (the cowl is brand new because I never flew the plane with the cowl in place). I only stopped flying this one because I’ve moved on to more advanced planes. It flies as good as new and is completely set up and ready to go. Here is a list of what is included:
(1) Beaver airplane
(1) New GWS 350C motor
(1) GWS ICS-480 Speed Control
(1) New GWS 6 channel Receiver w/Ch 27 crystal
(2) New Hitec HS-55 servos
(5) 730mah NiMH battery packs
(1) Wattage PF-12 Park Flyer AC/DC Peak Battery Charger
PLUS spare parts (shafts, gearboxes, spur gears, and props)
Here is a list of the Beaver modifications.
-Battery mounts vertically for CG
-Motor and battery connections upgraded to Dean’s Ultra Plugs
-Reinforced LG mount
-Sturdy LG wire
-Steerable tail wheel
-Foam wheels
-Reinforced rudder w/improved tape hinge
-Dubro E-Z pushrod connectors
-Carbon fiber reinforced wing. CF rods tucked under LE and TE of wings.
-Custom paint job. There’s a picture in my gallery (Funflyer) at www.rchobbyhub.com (http://www.rchobbyhub.com).
http://www.rchobbyhub.com/modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif It's got a little wear, but still looks good in the sky.
I’m asking $160 (or best offer) for everything plus shipping. Just buy a radio, charge the batteries, and go fly. The best part is that when you are finished with the Beaver, all the electronics easily go into another plane (you can buy most foam planes for around $40). That is the beauty of standard electronics. Send me a Private Message if you’re interested!
