I just bought one of the Cap21 versions just to see how they fly. How bad can it be for under $30?
Has anyone ever flown one of these???

If you want a great foamie for the money the Hobby Lobby Yaks are on sale for $19.90 with hardware and pre printed graphics. It builds in about 2 hours into a nice little plane.

I agree. I bought all four versions @ $19.90 each. It assembles quickly and it's a very good flyer using the Esskay 400XT outrunner from H/L. The Esskay 400XTs are on sale @ $29.90 at Hobby Lobby (bought four of them too) also.
The sale ends tonight at midnight so hurry up and get them while you still can.

Sale on the Yak-55 Depron "Flatsos" and the Esskay 400XT outrunner motors has been extended by Hobby Lobby through the 20th.
$19.90 a piece for the Yak-55s, and $29.90 for each Esskay 400XT outrunner.
I just ordered two more of each!

This by far and away one of the best 3D bargains out there. Fifty bucks for a great flying kit and BL motor is a fantastic deal that you just can't beat. Couple this combo with a Cool Runnings 10 amp speed control for an economical set up. I bought an extra two for back ups I like it so much.

Hard to believe, isn't it?
I'm running one of mine with the C/C Phoenix 10 and another one with an E-Flite 20A I had on hand. Difference in weight is minor and doesn't seem to affect flight performance at all.
The H/L Yak-55 is definitely sturdier (6mm depron) than some of the other models of the same type out there.
