Just curious here as I am setting up the Zoom Zoom. I have 1" of throw in the ailerons in each direction, and Im using 1 servo for them. The recommended throw in the manual say 80mm.
I have about 60mm in rudder and 1" in elevator again in each direction.
I am trying to figure out this Flash 5 radio, I adjusted a dual rate for the ailerons and took them to 70% on the flip of a switch.
Just trying to figure out how to do the other channels.
Do these throws sound to little or to much?

You need 45 or more degrees of throw.

Ken, a good rule of thumb when setting up most any 3d type is to set the low rates for comfort while doing close in stuff like hovering and max out the high rates for walking on the wild side. As Fly stated, forty five degrees minimum or as much as you can get for high rate stuff and don't be afraid to use as much expo as makes you comfortable.

Well during the maiden flight, I realized I have more than enough throw for my ability.
Infact I need to dial in some expo and epa bigtime the elevator and ailerons are huge on this bird. 1/2 elevator or less is enough to yank it pure verticle on takeoff.

More is good, I never seem to have enough for my likings, not sure on the degree but I know my servos are maxed with my EPA and durl rates are on high, high, hehe .I see you have flown it so hopefully you will get it where you need it crank up thatexpo if you need to it really helps alot.
