Whose built one, whose building one?
What is the rule about brushless motors and their controllers? Can you put four motors in parallel on one controller? Any thoughts or ideas?
I joined the fuselage so far, I put the dubro foam wheels in to the main gear instead of the supplied ones.
GWS was very efficient about exchanging 4 incorrect (the kit had 6 -300 sized ones) engine nacelles.
Still sanding the release marks from the foam. Otherwise the kit was good.

Running multiple brushless is not going to work. I know that if you search the threads long enough, you'll find someone that got it to work with two motors, but everyone at my club that tried has gone back to seperate controllers.
A brushless esc uses the voltage produced by the unpowered wind to establish the position of the rotor and the timing. Hooking several mototrs will confuse the esc.
I don't think there would be any harm to try it, I just don't think it will work.

Ok, just wondering if it was possible. I figured that 1 esc might produce the same rpm out of each motor. Cause I thought 4 controllers would produce 4 different speeds.

Stick with the stock motors. This kit really doesn't need brushless motors. It has plenty of power in the stock form. Just keep things light. I have about 3 dozen flights on mine, and I couldn't be happier. It flies so good, that I would recommend it to a newbie. Very stable, good power, and no bad characteristics. Awesome Plane!:D

Wow, that's quite a review! I'm thinking of using 3 hs-55 and an electron6. An ics400 and a 2s-1000 lipoly with the stock setup. Would you share your setup? What do you think about using flaperons? Thanks!

Here is my set-up,
- 4 stock motors
- 4 HS-55 servos
- ICS 400 ESC
- Electron 6
- Ni-mh 8.4V 750mAh (GWS pack)
In my opinion, you shouldn't need flaperons. I have landed mine quite a few times dead stick. Very flat glide, no bad habits. Just keep it light!:D
By the way, you should get a lot of flight time with that battery. I would recommend the GWS 400Li, Li-Poly safe ESC.

John is right on teh BL ESC's. You can get two motor to run off one controller, but it is hit and miss in their ability to repeatedly start corretly, and the controllers ability to control them. Some versions of ESC's (early P-25's) run hotter than normal when running two motors, but still way under the rated amps.
Also like FinnFLyer sid, it is unneeded. I don't have one, but have heard that there is plenty of power, and there is little stress to the IPS motors. IF you do run into having to replce the stock motors, you can think of using two BL motors and two brushed or dummy motors and have about the same power.
Post some pictures of your guy's setup if possible. The cargotrans is on my "list", but looks like it will be way down the road. :(

Thanks for your replies folks! I appreciate your input.
FinnFlyer: I will use my spare Pixie20P, vvery light. Are your batteries AA or AAA?
roccobro: Great idea with the dummy drives! I will take pics and post them here by the weekend!
I assembled the nose gear assembly and started fitting the main gear. Then on to the Tail section.
Have you folks painted yours? Let's see them.
