Embed Youtube and Google videos into posts

You can now embed Google and Youtube videos directly into the posts here. Just click the Youtube or google icon in the advanced wysiwyg editor here and put your link to the video in between the tags that these icons insert. Enjoy

EDIT: Man I must have a messed up account or something. I was looking for the chat, it is not there. Then I seen something about you need to use a different theme. The theme switcher is at the bottom left of every page. Well, I see nothing!! No chat no theme changer. It is not in the options anywhere!! What am I missing?

Hey Admin person. I used to have no problems linking to You Tube.Now I can post links ok (other ppl see my links ) But when I try to access You Tube links all I see is a white screen.Any ideas of sumpin a P.C. challenged ignorant like me can try? Thanks in advance for any advice . I really miss linking to videos

It is not just you. I have been noticing it with all of the YouTube stuff. Likely a change on their end that has caused issue here. The admins will have to work it out.

Don't use the [youtube] tags, instead, wrap the links in tags.

Hopefully Mike will be able to fix the [youtube] tags so old posts that have videos linked that way will start showing them correctly again. That, and change the YouTube button on the post screen to insert the [media] tags into your posts instead.

i know most forums do not allow youtube or any other video embedding because it slows down the servers, but i think an upgrade to better faster servers is crucial as we all love to see videos.

???? All you have to do is paste the link into the thread and it puts a small bitmap that you click on to start. . Doesn't get much easier.
