Tony Frackowiak flying his T-Rex 600 in a 20 mph wind..
And his Venture 50...

Once again proving the "electrics don't fly well in wind" crowd wrong!
What's he powering that T-Rex 600 with? Head speed dropped pretty badly during the flips compared to other vids I've watched (and people I've seen fly at my field). I want to build a 600 at some point, but I don't want one which sags that badly -- and is so slow to recover head speed -- during basic aerobatics.

This is the power.. Appears adequately large! And $$$$$!!!
I'll never get to the point where I'll be worrying about things like power sagging during flips and things, so I don't notice it.
When the wind comes up, it's usually only the heli boys that continue flying here!
My Electric Hots (with an OS 15) flew fine in that wind.. Even got a horizontal hover out of it. :)
My electric NERD handles that much wind easily..

This is the power...
OK, it looks like the stock Align setup on 6S using Flight Power Evos. This confirms my thinking that I want a little hotter setup than the stock one.
I'm not saying it doesn't have power... just that it has a really pronounced head speed drop which came back pretty slowly. This could also be caused by too much collective, or not leaving much headroom in the throttle curve. Either of which I'm guilty of a lot ;)
Thanks for the pics!
