I think you will need a bigger vertical. Otherwise very cool!

I'm using a 5400kv bl with 3cell lipo swinging 4 5/16 x 5 prop, trying to figure out what to buy as power source. Your's are much more to scale, NICE.

I think it'll fly after you get the elevator or elevon up/down trim set right. Not sure about stability in turns. Maybe it would be wise to build a balsa sheet or foam glider version and tweak the control surfaces to get an idea how it will glide straight ahead and in turns. The real one doesn't do much but fly like a high speed flatiron and make gradual turns.

if it just gets off the ground and flies I'll be happy,it's not meant to be a stunt plane. I think it will need a long runway, the steerable nose gear will help.

How about this one. Bell brushless motor, 3 s 2000 lipoly and gws 8 x 6 prop. Bill
It will loop but not very well, rolls nicely ,flies on rudder alone ,elevons very powerful. Does NOT like inverted, after 4 secs tumbles all over the place and needs 100ft to recover!!!!
ericthetree

why does it tumble?

I think that the fuselage is so massive that any yaw has such an effect and the model so light that it takes some time to end up going downwards and producing lift again,Perhaps!!! Bill

Yes the Pushy cat is from a free plan, Jan QEFI ,I think.
I have had three. Still have no 2 and no 3. All fitted with a brushless typhoon 15 and 3s lipoly. Launches underarm easily and is SO SMOOTH. Bill
