CC Phoenix 25 temp readings

Where is the best location to place an Eagle Tree temp sensor on th CC Phoenix 25?

Backside, frontside (label)?
Near what component?
Under the shrink tube or taped to the outside?
What is the max safe temperature to look for?

Rick,

As long as your setup is drawing 25A or less at full throttle the ESC shouldn't go into thermal shutdown...as long as you're running within specs with regard to the BEC you don't need one there either. Temps on the ESC are entirely dependent on the setup. There's really no reason to put a temp sensor on the ESC...it would be more useful on the motor to keep temps below the manufacturer's recommended max.
