Since this is such a new store, I guess no one has any experience with them?

Do your research.
Read it all, please. Even if you don't like RCG.
Then make your own judgement.

I have.

Hey dmm;

Our 1480 would probally be the best choice with that plane, and would power it well. There is a phone # on the contact page, you can call me tonight after 8:30 (I will be flying) or email me sales@ehobby-rc.com I can double check with Derek to see if that is the best motor.

Thanks!

ok thanks on my way to work, check with your partner and get back with me pm me if you would like

Please let's not re-hash that all over again. Save that for a different forum. It doesn't do any good posting that stuff here.

Thanks,

Frank

Spencer, what is the possibility of getting a 4000 mAH, 5s Lipo, rated for at least 15-20C? If possible, how much?

I wouldn't be over on RCG at all if it weren't for a couple of specific threads relating to two of my planes. Other than that, nothing worthwhile there. I find this site much more friendly.

They also seem to have a lot of "Ban Happy" moderators over there. I wouldn't be surprised to get banned for spelling mistakes in a post!

Aww, it's not that bad. I visit both of them pretty regularly, well more right now that normal and really it's not that bad. There are many more folks posting over there, so there will be some confrontations every now and then.

I've only gotten into a "discussion" one time over there and that was defending someone else from being called a "not-so-smart" person.

Well, their point systems based on the "naughty word" filter is good for a laugh. Got a Bachelor of Science degree? Don't mention it there! :D

To be fair, the BS rule has been rescinded. You can say BS now. Can you here?

Anyway, I thought that was kind of silly myself. But it was the members reporting on other members. Like I said a few times before, there is not a "I don't like you" drop down option so people like to report you every chance they get. Just have a look at the Model you Model thread. It really wasn't the Mods reading every thread and handing out warnings. It was the users reporting other users. Once one of your posts are reported, a notice to change gets sent to your inbox. I'm not sure how it works here.

Wow, did we get way off topic or what! BTW,what was this topic about again?

Yeah, we sure did. For what it's worth though, some of the best conversations I've ever seen started with an off topic post! :)
