First off, A warm "Hello" and Welcome to Wattflyer!
As some may know I am a co-Moderator, along with Jason, of the "Sailplane" Forum here. It is primarily an electric-powered Glider Forum, but we also discuss Thermal Duration, Hand Launch Gliders, Discus LG, Slope and Dynamic Soaring (DS) Gliders.
Having done some online research of glider clubs and informal groups, I've come across two sites in Australia that may be of interest. The first is Ian Cole's Slope Soaring in Australia http://users.ompac.net.au/~iancole/
And the second is for "Dynamic Soaring" Speed Freeks;
http://www.speedfreeks.com/ with photos and descriptions of many DS sites.
So, the next time it's too windy to fly electric, hit the slopes!
