Experienced management with proven track record running successful forumsHey ADMIN. I really don't want to be a party pooper, but your post
looks very much like a banner ad.
Sorry but I had to point this out.

Hmmm......... Avatars are allowed right ?
So that means you can have advertising " Avatars " all over this forum,
and it would technically not be considered commercial / banner
advertising.
You may as well allow commercial advertising. This way you don't have
to use technicalities to advertise products for cash.

as forum mod, i dont see the problem myself. we have others who post about THEIR own products here and allow that to a certian extent.
a banner ad is an ad that is a global, as opposed to an ad in a thread. besides, this is a review reference.
feel free to use this approach as a guide. we are the good guys here.
Tim. pm me if you want to discuss please.

Wow, being a little militant aren't we? I don't see the problem with a link to a lengthy review on an electric heli that many here may be interested in?!
Not nearly as annoying as someone running up a post count by making 3 entries that could have easily been made as 1 ;)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with posting a link to a review, but
there happens to be a big picture of a blade cp in that post. In my
opinion this qualifies as commercial advertising.
Militant ? Hardly...... Honest, truthfull, you bet.
I will refrain from posting anything else in Wattflyer
in the future.

sorry that you wont be staying UV. everyone has opinions, and yours, as well as others are valid in their context and interpretations.
perhaps the only aspect of the image, in retrospect, that i see is the manufacturer's logo, but removing this for the sake of correctness and also the fact that it is after all, the eflight blade, seems very sensitive to me.
the best thing about these forums are differing opinion and angles...

Not on my account I hope, I just happen to disagree that this was blantant advertizing.

not a big deal over reacting. I thought it was cool too see the pic.
just bought one and it really flies, a bit of hope after buying the colco thunder bird with all its tail problems being a newbie the blade kept me from guiting helis. quit the stupid nit picking and talk abought flying
and help others with their problems not tie up the forum with petty
junk the blade rocks!

sorry the photo offended you. if it was smaller would it have not? There was no pricing or where to buy info on it either. Does that mean that anyone who posts a picture of a product on a forum is advertising if the size is over a certain pixel dimension?
We don't charge for avatars here and companies may put their company name/logo in their avatars for disclosure purposes. You call it an ad and I call it disclosure. I like to know who I'm talking to when conversing with people and a company logo helps clear up alot as you know where a bias exists.
I hope you find greener grass at RCG or RR where they are 100% honest and moral unlike what I have done here. Sorry I could not uphold myself to your standards.
