Couldn't help myself after having so much fun with the 3mm Depron (http://www.slowfly.com/cgi-bin/shop.cgi?store=%2313896&view=%23389630) one I made.
This one is made from 1mm balsa - strengthened with 1mm CF Rod (http://www.slowfly.com/cgi-bin/shop.cgi?store=%2312184&view=%2313802) in main wing, tailplane, fins, and front body. Power unit is a 7mm SS Blue motor (photo shows a red one but I just received my blue motors) with a slightly trimmed 2.5x0.8 GWS prop.

Wingspan is 10". Current weight of just the model is 7.4 grams.

Am currently awaiting the arrival of my micro gear to complete it.

Micro gear arrived and was installed.
I did my first test but found out that my control surfaces are too large for the actuators I used. Either way I had no control over steering this thing. It did fly - in a straight line with a slight climb but only a very small marginal up/down control was all I had - no roll. ( set up with tailerons )
I will reduce the control surface and try again when done.
