Luckily it blew ashore in about 10 mins and everything was unharmed... in fact only the motor got submerged, the rest of the electronics got splashed but that was it.

Note to self: your slowstick on floats my be flyable in light to medium winds, but despite your ability to land it on water, it might just get blown over after landing... :(

some passing dog walkers found it funny... as did i to be honest ;)

Yeow! I had a GWS Beaver on floats that I flipped on landing out in the middle of a huge farm pond. There was no boat and I ended up swimming to get the plane....

Wow that had to stink, Note to you lake flyers, keep a blow up raft handy.
thats what we had to do when we ran RC boats, cause if we was down on the weekdays the building with the jon boat would be locked so we had to have a way to get our boats.
sometimes a fishing pole with a ball would work but sometimes it wouldnt.
