I dont know If anyone is farmilar with this plane, It has 4 ducted fans and almost 4 foot wingspan. In it's stock form it steered by trust diferential, I've converted it to Throttle & elevons 3cell 1400 18c power.
Heres the questions, It has a real tendancy to go right under power (all engines turn the same way) tourque? It does steer left and right but verry sluggish, wont respond to turn control unless a bit of up or down added, not a big deal but why? When turning it does nice gentle circuits but if you roll it more than 4 or 5 deg it tipstalls bad with little chance of recovery under 50- 75feet why? The plane also has verry little dihedral thinking about adding more, good or bad idea?
The plane is a friends the electrics are mine It's a turd in stock for now It's slightly less of a turd, We're going to work on it tonight and try and get my buddy some stick time on real radio gear. Here are some pictures.

Hello BcBasher,
any progress? Did you use the stock cg? Or did you recalculate it? All Air Hoggs planes have a very rearward cg to make control possible with thrust only
