This counter rotating prop heli has been a great first heli. It is stable and precise. When I am ready for CP i will have to look at overcoming the tail rotar issues.

Actually you won't have to "overcome" the tail rotor issues. The heli will behave in a similar fashion to a coaxial heli, it just achieves the results in a different way.
You WILL notice improved cyclic response with a FP or CP (with tail rotor) heli. Coaxial heli's are inherently more stable hover'ers (if that's a word :) ). But they aren't good in any sort of breeze. That means they also aren't good for fast forward flight.
Welcome to the forums and e-heli flight.
Sasha Halpern :)
