Finally got the Corn done and gave it a toss or two. Got it up in the air after only two throws :D

Got out to about 100' and the motor died. Turned back to me and got within range and re-started the motor and flew close in but everytime I got further out, it died again. Obviously the RX has a problem.

Checked the RX and with the antenna down, chattered at only 10'! I'm telling ya, these GWS receivers are really unreliable. I've had about 5 of them so far and 3 of them were useless.

Swapped the GWS with a Hitec Electron 6 after digging out a nice cozy foam bed for it, and even at 100' and the antenna down, it's signal is clear and steady!

Game was called due to rain and darkness but I can't wait to fly again. I can see really getting hooked on this thing!!!

Oooooooooo that's corn...

They are great flying wings. Several were flying in the heavy winds at SEFF this year.

My experience with the GWS Rx's is that they are ok for close in slopers (up to 200 meters), but as soon as you add a motor they cause glitches at that distance.

we just swithed the motor and speed controler in ours (so we could have lithium) and it went from 195 watts to 309 watts. but it flies great we can now take off at half throttle (but who would want to at full you can be up to hight in like 5 seconds)
