Would extending the wingspan lower the wingloading of a flat bottom wing.

Wingloading is calculated as aircraft weight divided wing area.

So if you extend wingspan while maintain the same chord you will have more wing area and thus a lower wing loading.

Extending the wings will give you more wing area.

But the extensions will weigh something so the total weight will also increase.

Because you're not increasing the really heavy bits like motor/battery etc. it's likely that the wing loading will go down. But only if you build reasonably light ;).

BTW "flat bottom" or not has no effect on wing loading. Wing loading is purely total flying weight divided by wing area.
