should I make my winglets go passed the bottom half of the wing?, it may even help the prop on landings
where should I pitch my motor shaft looking from the side up or down

I have used both as well as mod. shorter ones. I really didn't notice much difference when they were below the wing. But on some other threads people swear by it. Note: I did not increase the size of the winglets when I lowered them, that might be why I didn't see a big difference.

looking from the side , how much up thrust is your motor prop:o

When I bent them they had 95 degrees which is what I measure off the the busted up old tray, but after installing them it has no up/ down thrust. I am going to rebend them with 5 more degrees.
It flies, almost, but it won't climb.

so 3-5 Degrees is approximated

Yes, I am kinda of a "seat of the pants guy", I used a protractor orginally and 95 degrees is what I came up with. When I bent the L angle I bent it to 95 degrees. When I mounted them on the Zagi the actual angle due to airpalne curvature was 90 degrees. So I figure I still need the 5 degrees I measured from the orginal tray. I have seen some other zagi XT on the net that the guy used a simular system but he used a Lowes Yard stick to make his mounts. He said his flew great. I was hoping to get mine back up today but when I was removing the mount I found out that my last "hard landing" busted the plywood spar:-(

I don't see what you are refering to. The prop placement was measured from the back of the plane and the l angles are both exactly 95 degrees. It really is a mute pt since both mounts are off the palne know as it need a new spar and the mount bent to 100 degrees to get the 5 degrees of up thrust. I think:confused:
