On most of the tower hobbies electrifly battery packs the NImh that is , they state the charge rate, for example the 7 cell pack says to charge at 125 ma 10-12 hours, and trickle at 35ma, ,well does this mean you cant fast charge these packs on a delta peak charger?

All of my Electrifly packs have the same recommendation as yours do, yet with NIMHs they are safe to be charged at 1C rate.

The ones I used in my Yard Stick (600mAh) I charged at that rate. I have since switched to Li-Pos.

A 750 mAh NIMH pack I would charge (on a peak detection charger) at 700mAh. Just as I used to charge my old 600mAh @ 600mAh. Once the battery is charged your device will let you know.

Since I don't know what brand and or model charger you are using I can't be more specific with instructions and or suggestions.

Take care

want to charge a 6 cell NIMH 750MAH ,[what should I set this charger below at in voltage and MV threshold settings]?
This is the MRC Super Brain 959 AC/DC Delta Peak

Charger with LCD Display
FEATURES: Charges a wide range of batteries from 1-8 cells plus a setting for a single cell "Glow Driver" battery.
Will peak charge both NiCd and NiMH batteries.
AC/DC Delta Peak with MicroPeak Technology.
Powered by the latest ASIC technology with a 12-bit A/D converter
and a DSP algorithm, the RB959 detects delta peak more accurately
and avoids false peaks.
Unique Smooth Power Flex Control (SPFC) charges batteries smoothly
and efficiently.
Monitors and Displays voltage, current, charging time, delta peak
voltage, threshold, and battery status.
Adjustable current rate.
Plug 'n Play or advanced programming operation features.
Digital Signal Processing (DSP) filters out noise and provides
greater measurement accuracy.
Compact size to fit into a field box.
Purple Composite outer case with Vent slots cut into it.

REQUIRES: 12V battery, if you using DC
SPECS: Length: 128mm (5.03")
Width: 92mm (3.60")
Height: 72mm (2.84")

COMMENTS: Never leave the charger unattended when in use.
Seven Charge Current Rates: 0.5A, 1.0A, 1.5A, 3.0A, 3.5A, 4.0A, 4.5A
Six Delta Peak Voltage Thresholds: 5mV, -70MV at .5mv increments

For that type of battey mine would be set this way: Charge rate 0.5A (500mAh) and the Delta Peak Voltage at 5mv.

You don't want to overload the NIMH pack with a charge rate higher than what it can take so you'll have to use the next lower setting (0.5A).

All of my nicad and nimh packs are set at the 5mv threshold.
