Foam Basics 101

Would/could someone paste a link to a "Foam Basics" page please? I would like to know the differences between the types of foam including cost, where to buy, how to glue, paint, cut, whatever. I see different kinds of foam mentioned in the forums but would like a basic primer that covers their attributes. Thanks. Bob

Without doing a LOT of research, you might consider buying the book "Building with Foam". Do a Google search.

good book for block foam ..but for sheet foam construction i would suggest going to foamfly.com and checking things out there

Thanks for the links on building with foam but I only got one hit with a Google search for "Building in Foam" and it had no description of the book, contents, etc. Do you have a link to something that might describe the book? Tower and Amazon also had nothing in a search... The "foamfly.com" link would not let me into the "how-to" section without a special password issued by them -- maybe they will send me one later.
