Once again I hacked foam with no real plan other than to make something different looking. I have been a big fan of the Macross Saga or Robotech as its called many places and The Moondancer was inspired by the show.
Its not based on any one plane but just a fusion to make it look Robotechish. This plane will high alpha at a walking pace, Hold alpha stationary in 6mph winds, Knife edge and flat spin all on a 2 cell.:D

Wings: 25"
Length: 27"
AUW: 8.7 Ounces
Motor: Little Screamer Purple Peril
Prop: APC 7x6
Battery: TP-1320 2 cell

Because this is a prototype I didn't use any C/F so the airframe is limited to 2 cells only. I'm going to make a new version of this and also try this as a mid motor for more testing before detailed plans are released so stay tuned.

Ahh, decided to split out the vid from this one eh Kosh?

I have to concur, it's a great flying plane, nice and steady with very few nervous tendencies. It's very smooth through any of the flight regimes thrown at it (even inverted and during knife edge), and even manages to handle wind quite well.

That is a sharp looking foamie, Kosh!

I bet you could mass produce that and start your own company!

Good video, too! :tc:
