I just built a MM Magpie and absolutely love it. It flies like a dream and lands like a butterfly. It was easy building and is built well. Can someone recommend a good foamie bi-plane that builds easy and flies good outdoors.

How about a triplane that's just a little tricky to build but rewarding out of all proportion? The Horsefly Hobbies Dr 1 'impression' is an amazing outdoor flyer.

The GWS PicoTigermoth is a nice calm day flyer. RC groups has 28 threads dedicated to this plane. It is very popular. Cheap, easy buils, scale looks and easy to fly.

I second the Pico TM
Its a great 3 channel plane for small flying area's
It will manuever up over the trees quickly and float down when you are ready to land.
And it is best set up with a Feigo eng.(brushless) and Lipo batt.
