I have an original T3D Cap that I have been flying with a 2204 54 and a 9x3.8 prop. Just wondering if anyone knows how it stacks up against a shockflyer?
I am thinking of retiring the T3D!

Which one is better , thanks!

If you can catch when Hobby Lobby is having a sale you can pick up a Shockflyer for around 35$$ I just got through ordering 2 of them. They are nice kits. And they fly awesome! Try one if you have the spare $$$ funds laying around.:D

Just wait until the annual Hobby Lobby sale on Thanksgiving day. They always have a killer sale. Gives you a few weeks to stock some funds away for a buying spree! :D

Steve,

Flown 'em both. There is no comparison; the T3D (though fun) is just not in the same league as the shockie. I like the superstar best.

Good to hear , thanks for all the replies. I figured I would just go for it! I now own an Edge 540 ready to be maidened :)
One of the members in my club found out and sold me an Extrema 330S for cheap. I have ordered a 2208/34 hollow shaft and a variable pitch prop for that one,I should be having some fun indoors this year!

Thanks again!
