Hi

I want to change the ESC for a 780 brushed motor. How many Amps should the ESC be?

Do you want to check that number ? I've never heard of a "780" brushed motor and it looks like no-one else has either.

BTW the simple answer is probably the same Amps are the one you're changing it for.

Its a large motor capable of giving extra thrust. My problem is that it is connected to a small circuit which is both receiver and esc and cannot identify the amps (dont tell me to ask the fellow who sold it to me - I think I would need an appointment with St. Peter). I want to get rid all of the old circuit and replace it with modern material especially receiver. In any case I made some extensive research in the internet and found out that 40-50 Amps should be ok if I dont overdo it with the prop.
