Just got back from a Fun Fly, HOT!, but a great day.

I flew my KY T-33 three times. Man, I love this little jet! I bought it used a couple months ago and replaced the stock motor with an Aveox 2726/1.5 and a TP 3S2P 4200 G2 pack. It hand launches very easy and has been clock at over 80MPH!

I wish Kyosho was re-release the T-33, F-16 and Lear Jet foam EDFs!

Hey Brian. Alot of people have commented positive about the Kyosho t-33 and F-16. I myself have come close a hundred times to picking one up in the forsale forums. Maybe one day Ill grab one before they become too extinct :)

Mike,

I would suggest it, I had one NIB, but sold it. (still kicking myself!)

It is really amazing how well it flies and how much fun it is!

I am getting ready to start the MiniWave by Rich Uravitch...100-MPH!!!!

I too enjoy my T-33; one in the rafters as a spare!

1st flight was 7/00; well balanced stock fan/rotor (w/upgrade spinner & adapter) still going strong at nearly 500watts.

jrb, 500 watts!!! That is great, I lost a fan at 450...guess I need to balance better.

Both the upgrade aluminum spiiner and collet adapter help quite a bit at higher watts!

However, some have been able to balance the plastic as well.

Do you know if Tower still carries the upgrade spinner and collet?

Tower not; but maybe Kyosho, who has the fan/rotor: http://www.kyoshoamerica.com/index.asp

Read somewhere ( http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4046276&postcount=88 ) that someone found a different collet adapter that could be made to work.

Try a cut down Kamdax IC impeller with the Kyosho fan; I'm using the Mega 16/20/2 on a 4400 4S and she is right at 735 watts

VERTICAL is FUN

Still haven't flown mine yet, all stock gear with nicads, Canadian markings and colour. (Before you guys yell at me, I cannot afford lipos, but I can afford to build balsa models!) I also have a spare motor/fan, and intend to build a (balsa) CF100 or RB66; at that point I may have to go to better (lighter) battery packs...
